BIO
When Keegan sat down to write his first song at the age of 14, he didn’t know it would grow into his life’s work. He started in piano lessons at a young age and became a student of classical and jazz piano, which led to a scholarship to the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston.
Keegan studies the works of old-school jazz and R&B greats to create a sound that is uniquely his own. He pulls influences from John Coltrane, Charlie Parker, John Mayer, Bruno Mars, D’Angelo, Stevie Wonder, Daniel Caesar, and Mac Ayres.
Needing to be closer to the action, Keegan moved to Nashville to focus on writing and performing his music. He spends time writing, playing, and producing original music as well as unique takes on popular tracks. His debut album, “Finer Things” is available now.
You can watch Keegan on Season 20 of NBC's "The Voice."
